Your safety

Your health, safety, and well-being of guests are our primary concerns. Guests at Jim's Farm and Jim's Beach relish an outdoor lifestyle, enjoying dining on our terraces and utilizing our pools.  

At the farm, we prioritize health measures in accommodations by sourcing water from our own wells, fed by local mountain streams. All our water undergoes sand and charcoal filtration, while drinking water is also UV filtered for total security. Guests are welcome to drink directly from the tap and refill their own bottles.  

We maintain our own electricity sub-station and have a back-up generator to ensure uninterrupted service.  

Nearby, well-qualified western-trained doctors are available at short notice, and we have access to 24-hour emergency treatment at both state and private hospitals in Kandy and Galle, which are just 45 and 20 minutes' drive away, respectively.  

Safety protocols at hotels, including 24-hour security, are in place both on the farm and at the beach. Our hotel staff members reside in cottages by the front and back gates, which are secured at night. Additionally, a staff member always sleeps on the ground floor of each Villa when guests are present to enhance security.
